Leak Defender VS

Leak Defender VS Water Leak Detection System is designed to shut off a water supply with an in-line motorized stainless steel ball valve and sound an audible alarm when the sensor puck comes into contact with water or another type of conductible liquid. This system is designed to shutoff municipal water supplies, appliance water feed systems, geothermal systems and other leak detection/shutoff applications.

We strongly recommend installation by a qualified technician. Must meet or exceed local & national codes. 

Requirements before you begin installation:

• Installation of the Leak Defender VS System requires a basic knowledge of plumbing as well as specialized tools for cutting pipe and joining fittings.

• A 120 VAC wall outlet within 10 feet of the control box location.

• Control box location must be within 10 feet of the valve location.

• Control box mounting must be located at least 1 foot off the ground and for indoor use only.

• For applications that need mounting at longer distances extension cables for power, valve control and sensors are available.

• This system can use up to 6 sensors if desired.

• 120 VAC Transformer with 10 ft cable (Wall Plug Type)
