Leak Defender “WS” Wireless System Relay module and Sensor Installation

1.   Adding (Pairing) Sensors and Relay to Leak Defender System

       You must first have the Yolink App installed.  Hub configured and connected to the internet. Use hub

        instructions supplied with hub for App connection.                    

• Open the App: Log in to the Yolink app on your smartphone.

• Scan QR Code: Tap the scanner icon (or "Add Device") and scan the QR code located on the sensor.

• Bind Device: Customize the sensor name and assign it to a room, then tap Bind Device.

• Replete sensor pairing for each sensor if multiple sensors are used.

• Scan QR Code: Tap the scanner icon (or "Add Device") and scan the QR code located on the relay located in the relay module box.

• Bind Device: Customize the relay name and assign it to a room, then tap Bind Device.

2.  Automated Relay Setup with Sensors Using App Automation 

• Open the YoLink App .

• On Relay ICON slide button to on. (Leak Defender will be activated)

• Select Smart tab at bottom of screen, then select Automation at the top of the screen.

• Create a New Automation by tapping the + icon.

• Name Automation Action (Example: Sink 1)

• Choose the + icon Under WHEN and select Device Actions

• Select your specific Water Leak Sensor.

• Select Device Actions

• Choose a rule Water Not Detected.

·        Under Action ("Then")

o   Select:  +  on the Behavior line

o   Under Choose and Behavior Select: Device Actions

o   Select: YoLink Relay.

o   Under Device Actions Select: Turn Off

o   Select check mark icon on top right of all screens to save selections.

o   Slide Relay slide switch to OFF. Leak Defender will be deactivated and be in ready to detect mode.

5. Test Sensor with water. Sensor will sound alarm and Leak Defender system will activate.

6. Once the sensor probes are thoroughly dried, the relay will automatically return to ready to detect mode. Place sensors were needed for leak protection.
